I have a brother. Technically I used to have a brother. In the past we went to the same school and now we're not even in the same country. And also, pardon my amateur English.

Family and cakes??

Yes, family and cakes DO come together. Especially when someone is going overseas to continue on studying.

See? Told you. Not just families, but my mother's close friends too!

The cake was a specially made tiramisu! The halal one that is!

Dental check?!

Once my mother helped a stranger, a lady. After this and that, now they are friends. Later on she introduced herself as a dentist and gave my mom free checkups.(emphasis on the 's' which defines plurality)

So mom brought all of her children, who are my bother, my sister, my 'German' brother and me. It was excruciatingly disturbing that all of us, except my mother, have some freak teeth disorders.

And there's my brother, getting checked. When it was his turn, there was like 3 nurses 'taking care' of him. But when my turn came up, there was barely even one...

It was revealed that my mom's and father's mixed genes is responsible for my unaligned teeth. I had my mom's small mouth and my father's huge teeth. Alas the nonuniform teeth.

Although it does feel bad to point fingers, it has got to be someone's fault...

Dining at Secret Recipe!

Before my brother went to Germany, he drove across the Peninsular of Malaysia, from the west to north then to the south region, with the old second hand, black Volkswagen Beetle, with a friend and used my mom's credit card, which was given to him voluntarily, to pay for the fuel fee.

How he did it, personally, I don't know. What I do know is that he didn't even tell anyone he was going to do so and we only knew after some invisible forces of the universe made us know. And when he came back, all that he said was,"Mom, did you know that our country is actually beautiful?"

Oh well, it would be nice if I could do the same thing in the future anyways...

Going onto the next chapter, my brother also made the effort to eat everything that he will miss afterward. One of his conquests was The Secret Recipe, which could be found at the 15th Presint in Putrajaya. Nice shop really...

Aaaahhh... There he is with my sister... He may be mad at me for posting his picture, but I've also been mad at him for not skyping more often. It's payback time!!

I should have taken pictures of the food though, the dishes were much more memorable than him...

Toot toot, toot toot...

My mom checked who was online on skype and my brrrrrother was NOT. As if I wasn't expecting that from a verrry INCONSIDERATE brother...

Oh well, it IS a month away from the next time he'll call.

Teacher Tengku Ketina!!!

When my brother was having his haircut, which basically means having his head shaved, my mom asked what his teacher's name was. And he answered, you guessed it:
TEACHER TENGKU KETINA!!!

(hehe, a picture from the ABIM blog!)

At first I was gobsmacked by his answer. I didn't know we shared the same English teacher.(she taught me too in 6th grade in 2007)

Teacher Tengku Ketina is the BEST, BEST, BEST English teacher you can ever ask for. Although she is sometimes verrrry strict but she's very, very sweet at most times.

She has the highest standard in grading exam papers among all the other English teachers in ABIM. Which is good, really. How can we, students, really know how good we are in English if we keep getting bonus marks all year round? But that means each of us would have to give full attention in class to even just get a 'B'! We'd have to burn the midnight candle to just get 80%(which is an A, for your information)

Everytime she comes into my class, Teacher Ketina would speak English in the Terengganu slang with a pinch of British accent. Ooohh the sweet old times...

Now she is the HEADMISTRESS of ABIM Sg Ramal Dalam. She has definitely made me proud and I hope I can make her proud next by getting A handful of straight A's in PMR. Amin!
